RMCS is located in the city center, right behind the SB Public Library and SB City Hall. To find us, turn onto Dattilio Drive, and our beautiful school campus will be directly ahead. Please read below for a little history on how our school driveway became a city street.
We know how to put on a celebration! RMCS students, staff, family, friends, and a variety of SB community members joined us at the corner of Market Street and Dattilio Drive for the dedication of the city's newest street, Dattilio Drive, to our very own Sue Dattilio!
At Rick Marcotte Central School, "Where Everybody Is Somebody," we chose to name our street after a person who reminds us daily that everyone matters and everyone belongs. After thoughtful discussions and a school-wide vote, members of our street naming committee presented our suggestion to the City Planning Commission, who approved it, making this the first student-named street in South Burlington.
