Our Mission
The Mission of the Nutritional Services Department is to contribute to the success of the District
and the attainment of the District Ends policy by:
Ensuring that all students to have access to nutritious meals in an efficient, effective, and pleasant manner.
Maintaining the self-esteem of all (students, staff, parents/guardians, and greater school community members)
Setting and modeling appropriate levels of behavior for oneself, coworkers, and students.
Conveying a positive, service-oriented, problem-solving approach to others.
Following policies, procedures, and protocols of the District, the State, and USDA nutrition-related regulations.

In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation) disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.
Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g. Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or local) where they applied for benefits. Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339. Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.
To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:

Vermont Summer EBT Program
Summer EBT is a program that helps families get groceries during the summer break when school meals aren't available.
Many families will automatically get Summer EBT benefits if they already get other benefits. But some might need to apply. If your family already gets benefits like 3SquaresVT, you'll be enrolled in the Summer EBT program.
If your family isn't automatically enrolled but might be eligible, you can apply easily online when applications open in August.
If families qualify and already have an EBT card, their Summer EBT benefits will be added to it. If they don't have a card but qualify, they'll receive a new card.
Families automatically enrolled will be notified by a letter in the mail in July.
Families that qualify will receive $120 per eligible child for healthy summer foods.
