The Task

You and your partner will take on the role of archeologists who have found the missing treasure chest of a famous explorer.  You want to share your discovery with the rest of the world, but first you must prove to the directors of the Fleming Museum that the treasure chest is authentic (real)!  With your partner you will investigate a famous explorer then use your imagination to create the treasure chest that you and your partner found.

Your treasure chest will need to include the following items:

After you complete your treasure chest, you will present it to the directors of the Fleming Museum (our class).  They will determine whether or not the chest is authentic and deserves world wide recognition!
